A Day Away... |

|
Join Ryan and Nianna for an amazing 'Day Away', a chance to escape reality for the day. We are planning a whole day of rejuvenating exercise, deep reflection and nutrient dense food. We will begin the day with hot chai and a powerful yoga class. Then we have a superfood shake for breakfast, hike several miles, eat a raw, nutrient dense lunch, and finish with a stretch. Our food will be organic and raw, with examples of how you can integrate powerful foods into your diet. Not to mention... dessert! Take some time to yourself and reset the system. A Day Away is designed to reignite the fire within. Through a strong asana practice and a gorgeous hike, we can tune back in to our inner nature. Let the routine go! Let the week go! And let yourself radiate your true being. 2012 is a year of Truth and Transparency; both internally and externally. This is a special retreat for us. As you may know, we have recently moved to NYC and this is our first time back and working in LA. It is with great gratitude that we bring our passion for yoga and wellness to you. AND, we have decided to use the proceeds of this Day Away to help support an orphanage in Peru that is near and dear to us. Las Casitas del Arco Iris has 16 orphans, feeds and educates over 100 elementary aged children and has 5 post high school programs for under priviledged kids in Urubamaba, Peru. A magical place. She is a native Los Angelino, born in Santa Monica, CA. Nianna has a profound respect for the healing aspects of yoga, shown in her commitment to life-long study and teaching. She teaches classes, private sessions, and workshops throughout Los Angeles and New York, leads global adventure retreats, and guides people on pilgrimages to India. When she is not teaching yoga she enjoys the simple pleasures of life like laughter, making yummie meals, sunsets, tails, bike rides and family. She is grateful for the blessings she receives from her teachers. |
